Alec's life journey began in the vibrant Kingston area, where he spent his formative years before making a significant move to Guelph There, he pursued higher education at the University Of Guelph, earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree while showcasing his skills as a talented defensemen for the Guelph Gryphons hockey team. Presently, he resides in Guelph with his loving wife, Jess, and cherishes every moment spent with their three delightful kids: Jack, Penny, and Samantha.

With over 16 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Alec's journey started as a BDM, and he gradually transitioned into various roles within credit and lending. These diverse experiences provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the mortgage process from both perspectives, enabling him to offer top-notch services to his clients. As a partner at Axiom Mortgage Solutions Guelph, he collaborates closely with Mortgage Associate Hannah Wojcicki, together forming a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional results.

While Alec holds family and community close to his heart, he also revels in cherished moments spent with his loved ones during sports event travels. He finds joy in lounging by the pool with Jess and their children during their time away from a busy family life. Their strong connections to the University of Guelph foster active engagement within the local community, where Alec plays an essential role as the Chair of the Hockey Day in Gryphonville Alumni Committee. With pride, he coached Jr Gryphon hockey for seven years and most recently coached AAA U11&12. Beyond his dedication to sports, Alec extends his involvement to charitable work, generously contributing his time to the Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington's Trees for Tots program.
